Character Introduction: Frostbite Isaz
She is the angel of the winter and one of the deadliest angels created, her powers bring a freezing chill as eternal as her immortal life. She was created and raised in the Immortal Realm by Ezra Daron, the first angel who created the realm itself. Frost faithfulness to her kinship and Ezra was unwavering for as long as she existed until the birth of Geordie Vollner. For many centuries, Ezra used Frost as her personal assassin whenever the vampires ran out of control, and by extension Frost grew a hatred for the vampires, seeing them as disgusting parasitic creatures.
This hatred wasn’t restricted to vampires; however, it extended out to all the creatures of darkness. Frost hated the vampires the most, but also hated the lygoids, humans, most faeries, werewolves, and similar creatures. She believed that angels are superior to other species followed by any fae with the light essence. Because the fae are not truly immortal despite their long lives, she still viewed them as inferior to the angels.
She has one friend, Pyre, a fire angel who was created around the same time as her. Another one of Ezra’s many revered assassins, they’d been on the hunt for Geordie Vollner together since it started and he’s the only person who has consistently stayed by her side, earning her trust. He might not realize it, but she loves him more than she is loyal to the angels because he stays by her side. Therefore, she would never betray his trust as her way of expressing her gratitude to him.
As with most angels, Frost has two forms, one for each realm. In the Immortal Realm, she bears large dark blue angelic wings that seem to sparkle with silver specks. Her entire body radiates with angelic magic to the point that it is difficult for most mortals to gaze upon apart from the fae. In the mortal realm, her wings tucked away magically from prying mortal eyes in the form of a large sparkling tattoo on her back, and she takes on the appearance of a somewhat tall and muscularly lean woman. She hates her mortal form because it feels like a lesser version of her true form, and she cannot share her real beauty with the world.
One of the many abilities the angels have is the power to turn invisible, therefore she uses her powers to stay invisible to mortals instead of having to stay in her mortal form. She hates everything about the mortal realm, from its residents to how it makes her feel dirty walking on its soil. She firmly believes that mortality is beneath her like a pebble under her shoe.
Because she is the only angel of winter, when creatures see her, she is met with fear. Not only does she have a deadly reputation to those who know of her, but most creatures also know not to cross an angel because of their immense power. Frost revels in the fear that she instills in those around her, it fuels her love for violence and carnage against the vampires.
The hunt for Geordie Vollner is the longest it’s taken her to assassinate her prey, fueling her rage towards the vampires and Geordie. Her present goals are to one day eliminate Geordie Vollner from the earth, but more than that she wishes to see the vampire’s existence wiped out in the name of Ezra Daron. For now, she will settle with just eliminating the only angelic vampire, the fallen.
